The 2010 Shield is looking for the creative type...

Yes, this label applies to almost everybody in some way. What the Shield yearbook wants, more specifically, is someone who is both artistic and has some experience expressing her or his artistry technologically. If you have dabbled with or have a strong interest in learning creative software applications from Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to musical programs like Apple's GarageBand, we want to talk to you. Become a member of the Shield staff by contributing your creativity to the Shield Yearbook, DVD yearbook and the Shield website. No prior experience in journalism or photojournalism course work is necessary, but would certainly be a plus. The only requirements are that you are a student in good standing with your GPA (B minus or better), and can provide a sample of your previous artistic work.

Express yourself! Apply to the Shield here to let us know about your creative side today.

If you are interested in furthering your experience with the mulitmedia software listed above, as well as Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver, enroll in Mr. Collette's Adobe Certification classes this fall.
